Now What?
So I showed you my 18 blocks from the 4x5 modern Quilt Bee last week {here}, and the big decision is - now what? I'm thinking since the blocks have a variety of background colors, it might be nice to piece them with a different solid sashing/border to tie them all together. So here's some options I'm thinking about, testing colors with three sample blocks . . .

I agree. Love school bus. Or charcoal.
I think Tangerine or Charcoal are my personal faves, but I really think each of them work nicely. Such awesome blocks you've gotten!

tangerine or school bus - definitely out of my comfort zone but they look fabulous!
I like Tangerine for pulling pops of color from the blocks; and Black for the high contrast. Your quilt is going to be amazing!
This is going to be a really nice quilt. I like the tangerine and the pepper or charcoal the best but truly each of these works nicely.

Reading everyone else seems like most like the charcoal and I was liking the pepper. So I had to go back and see why. I don't know if its my computer but I think the pepper makes the contrast show just a little more...interesting. You have a hard choice and I'm glad it's yours! So glad it's individual but it will be beautiful, yours always are!
i like tangerine for a bright quilt and pepper for a sophisticated.
I would pick the Kona Tangerine. Charcoal is great too, but I think that in a couple of years we all think 'what were we thinking with all the dark grey?' and orange is always a fun color :-)

I would say tangerine or charcoal with school bus and orange not far behind...tough choice -- these look great with everything!

My vote goes for School Bus (of course...) or charcoal. Honestly, the only one I wasn't fond of was the tomato. Have fun choosing!

I'd have to say charcoal or pepper, but I think they would all look good - depending on what you were going for with the background.

All of them will work, but if we're voting, I'll cast my ballot for charcoal! It's going to look great no matter what you decide.

Scholl bus is my favourite and then one of the darker greys.

I say school bus, orange or charcoal. And I see that I'm not alone. :) Whatever you choose, it's going to be awesome!
